Dmitry Sereda was born on the 18th of September 1981 in Ukraine. Producing a wide range of sounds by night a practicing lawyer by day

He started his career as a musician playing guitars, drums and keyboards since 1996 whilst engaged in different metal and heavy music bands and projects. Including; Sleeping Flowers, Vast Forest, Great Horn, M.F, Hateblaze.

Following on from this, project 7Vortex started inspired by and eclectic range of sounds from Rock and Jazz through to IDM, Breakcore focused though Minimal Techno in particular. Music from this project has been released through Argentine label BPM Front: «Psykhonikah» and «Lime Liquor»

Devoting much time to experimenting with this range of digital and acoustic influences 2009 saw and influx of Dubstep, Fidget House and Minimal Tech House on the final cuts and the following tracks released: Substanz and Nebula (Dubstep) and track Zero-Hero (Techno and Electro focus) .

In the year 2010 Dmitry Continues to push himself further on his musical voyage connecting with Australian label Mojodojo Media, who are set to release a techno inspired ep, containing Space Contact and Agrimotor, inspired by: Kiko, Popof, Lutzenkirchen, Spartaque, Umek, Andreo Bertolini, Vitalic.

XU first started Djing at a seminal night in the cold Canberra winter called the Vinyl Underground it was there that the dark deep techno vibe first started distorting speakers ill equipped to deal with such sonic manipulation. From there much experimentation found its way into sets around eastern states of Australia. 2, 3 decks and Laptop Jams ensued. It only seemed natural that XU founded the label Mojodojo Media as a platform to release independently of the mainstream.

For me seeing the world through my child’s eye since that amazing day he was born has re enlightened the sense of wonder of a child. To see him ask for music dance and not know why, to play with my DJ mixer know that he is interacting with sound is just wonderful. He has not be instructed by society that he has to be musician to do that he just is and lost in his amazement.

I am really inspired by this and would like to write music and produce communications that capture that moment. That gives someone as powerful a reaction as seeing the image above. Beautiful things are every where. enjoy it we are only her for a fleeting glance. Be in love not in a relationship not only with a partner but your world around you.

When you stop enjoying what you are doing and the whole thing becomes a chore then it is time to re-evaluate exactly what is going on. Time to ask some questions. For years I have pushed hard to develop artists and release their amazing energy. The issue I have is that I thought by default I needed to do it within the confines of the existing order and system. A system that does not care about the depth of what is happening but the volume and desire to be the latest greatest.

I have chosen to set the Label apart from the mainstream as nothing is underground any more. Everything seems to have a value and marketing capital placed on it and if it does not then all the better as it will be the next thing to discover. I was sick of chasing the dream and waiting to be discovered that in the process I lost touch of what I really needed and loved doing, producing music and art to connect with people.  In stead of chasing the desire and trying to be heard by all the right people I have decided to sit back do what I do and connect with like minded individuals. Sure I would like to share it with those that will listen but I will not have that as my focus of attention.

We can still appear in stores but when we are ready to release something not because we have to. I would like to thank all those involved in getting Mojodojo this far and look forward to the second shift for that label. We have grown up a little and love and respect who were are and understand our place in the world.

While going to a lot of techno/minimal parties and festivals, he started to think more and more about the composition of the songs played at these venues. After he started dj-ing as well, he had enough inspiration to set up a new musical project called Transpouse. With this project he tries to create a new sound in the techno scene. By using mostly his own made samples and thinking broader than just the techno genre, he has created his own style.

Raised in several European countries, she was exposed to many cultures and musical tastes & traditions. She was classically trained in piano at an early age, and enjoyed a full spectrum of music genres, from opera to punk. In her teens she started listening to The Cure, which continues to be a strong influence in her music. While in college, her interest and inspiration for electronic music production was sparked by the releases of The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers & Moby. The passion grew.

After moving to Los Angeles, California, she started working at Tower Records with friend and electronic music buyer for Tower Records, Keith. He was a deep and soulful house DJ, and frequently held intimate parties with friends all over LA and at Burning Man. He taught her the basics of DJing and she began to play house & deep house in small underground house parties. A move to Dublin, Ireland introduced her to a friend and fellow producer, 16Htz. He taught her the basics of production and soon after Lilith was born.

Now back in LA, she has been producing electronic music for about 5 years, and achieved her own
unique style, which has been described as a fusion of deep & sexy minimal with house/techno rhythms.

There is nothing understated about this release and to hear this on a system prepared for such an onslaught would be staggering. Extreme is everything and then some, a trump card for any hard techno enthusiast.

Overload would further heighten the nervous system aligning the body into systematic textured movement. This is a full body work over. As the first 2 tracks build you up the last, Shadows helps you exhale, the tone and texture is present but the energy is more contemplative.

Tropic EP by XU is now available for download
While the primary genre is techno, XU has managed to squeeze some dubstep sounds into Tropic of Capricorn…Shuffle and colourful techno inspired by a walk along Noosa’s tropical path one summer afternoon.

Underline VX EP by Milton Bustamante. This is a 3 track EP featuring Dark Heavy Techno, including a remix by XU. Making an incredible debut release from This emerging techno Argentine producer.

Red Eyed Tree Frog
The Red-eyed Tree Frog has bright to dark green back. The backs of the thighs are reddish-purple. The eye is yellow in centre and redder towards the outside. The underside is bright yellow. Has large toe pads. Their habitat is shrinking at an alarming rate. As frogs are a well known symbol for awareness of the worlds shrinking habitat they are often the first indicator for an ecosystem imbalance, we must observe them closely.

Brush Tailed Rock Wallaby
Brush-Tailed Rock-Wallabies live in eastern Australia, and have also been successfully introduced to New Zealand and Hawaii.
Brush-Tailed Rock-Wallabies were once abundant throughout the mountainous of South-Eastern Australia. Unfortunately due to predators such as foxes, dogs, competition with introduced herbivores and from fur hunters in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the brush-tailed rock wallaby is considered endangered. There are only a few colonies left in New South Wales and Queensland, and they are critically endangered in Victoria.
Perhaps a little something about the extinction rate of Australian species, apparently we kill off more species than anywhere else in the world.

XU, releasing Ohne Licht is an EP that is much deeper and darker than previous releases. A different path for XU with subs so thick the bass is dripping from the walls. Fatter slicker production and distinctly Mojodojo vibe combine for an exciting release.

Ohne licht sets the tone with a hypnotic dark exploration of sounds that adds texture but no light.
Intangible is a more upfront tribal groove for the minimal listener. Featued in Resonant Vibes Pick of the week
